
The Union of Graphic Industries of São Paulo (SINDIGRAF-SP) represents approximately 7.000 companies in its industry. Due to its representativeness, by tradition in the defense of the category and for covering a significant portion of the graphic industry in Brazil, the SINDIGRAF-SP is ahead of actions whose benefits reflect not only on companies in the state of São Paulo, but in many cases, reach the national graphic market as a whole.
The actions of the SINDIGRAF-SP aims the ethics concerns and constant search for transparency. We seek to reach different audiences and interlocutors, either from associated graphic companies, sector workers, authorities and other associations and civil society organizations. In strategic terms, the entity has a proposal to reinforce three lines of work: management, pressure for change and education, with emphasis on the transmission of technical and managerial knowledge, through publications, research, census, courses, events and other activities. The entity still keeps its focus in the social responsibility concept and in the respect for the environment through the graphic shops.

ABIGRAF Magazine
Published since December 1975, the magazine hold the leadership among the specialized media for the Brazilian printing industry. It has received many awards over the years, both national and international ones, among them the Benny (the most important international award of the sector), and is published bimonthly, being distributed in the whole country. A recent research carried out with the readers has revealed that the magazine was highly approved due to its graphic and editorial quality: design (94%), credibility (93%), text quality (90%), information level (89%), and content (89%). The research has also showed that each issue is read by an average of 5.5 people, which projects, on the total run (10,000 copies), a universe of more than 50,000 readers. Its target readers comprise entrepreneuers and executives from the printing industry (from the commercial, promotional, publishing, packaging, adhesive label, sign and conversion segments) and advertising agencies, as well as marketing and product managers from the largest companies in Brazil, along with designers and graphic artists, photographers, and suppliers of raw materials, processes, systems and printing equipment.
The Brazilian Graphic Industry Yearbook
It is the only directory concerning the Brazilian printing industry and has been published since 1996. It is a fundamental resource for clients and professionals and presented in the 376 pages of its 18th issue (2014) a database with 2,112 of the most important printers in Brazil, with a real “X-ray” of each one, including full address, number of employees, installed area, maximum printing format, certifications, graphic processes available and specializations. Besides data on the print shops, it includes the Suppliers Guide, with 80 pages containing a database with information regarding 550 suppliers of raw materials, processes, systems, graphic equipment and services. Highly respected in the market due to its content quality and information reliability, the yearbook is known as the “Bible” for the Brazilian printing industry.
Tecnologia Gráfica Magazine
Recognized as the technical magazine of the Brazilian printing industry, Tecnologia Gráfica is the official vehicle of the Brazilian Association of Printing Technology (ABTG) and of the Theobaldo De Nigris Senai School of Graphic Arts. Released in 1996, it is published trimonthly with a run of 7,000 copies for each issue and is the only magazine in the industry focused exclusively on the production professionals in the national printing industry. Its editorial content covers articles and news on products, processes, and technological innovations, as well as articles signed by important industry specialists. It is distributed in the whole country for the production area of printers working in the commercial, promotional, publishing, packaging, sign and conversion segments and its target readers comprise managers, bosses and production supervisors, as well as printers, consultants and higher education institutions.
